My Services

As of September 2024, I offer songwriting services in the form of lyrics and acoustic demos! Below, you can find the three packages I provide. Please note, I don't take orders without a video call consultation, but I would be happy to provide a free quote for any service you may be interested in.

By commissioning me, you will receive high-quality, original, full-song-length lyrics in the structure you request. These lyrics can be catered to various genres, including pop, rock, indie, R&B, pop-punk, folk, and country. With over fifteen years of songwriting experience under my belt, I assure you that I can provide top-notch quality for entry-level prices.

DISCLAIMER: I require credit (at the very least) in any release of the lyrical and melodic content I provide, commercial or otherwise unless negotiated further.

Lyric Writing | Light Lyrics

One set of simple lyrics and one round of revisions with one spoken recording. This is best if you want something closer to poetry, or if you want to create your own melody.

Lyric Writing | Simple Song

One set of solid lyrics with one melody provided, and three revisions. This is best if you want a single simple demo and aren't too picky about the final version.

Cost: $270 CAD

Lyric Writing | Advanced Art

One set of advanced lyrics with two potential melodies and five revisions. This is best if you want fancier lyrics, a more advanced sound, or lots of options.

Add-Ons

Extra Revisions: $40 each, + 1 week added to delivery time

Extra Melodies: $100 each, + 1 week added to delivery time

Acoustic Guitar Scratch Track: $100 each, + 1 week added to delivery time (includes chords)

*Note: All final deliverables will be supplied as 48kHz, 24-bit stereo .WAV files. If you need another file format, like .MP3 or .M4A, please let me know during your consultation call.

F.A.Q.

Are Prices Firm?

Base prices are firm, but not all quotes will be the same depending on add-ons like revisions or extra melodies, or any special requests that come up during consultations.

How Long Will the Song Be?

The beauty of songs is that they're all different and ever-changing, depending on who's singing it. Not only can lyric lengths vary, but so can the tempo of the song. If you have requests for a specific tempo, lyric length, or song length, please let me know in your consultation call.

What's Included in a Revision?

Anything you want! Revisions are to make sure you're as happy with the product as you can be. Revisions are per-song, not per-lyric, so you can ask for as much to be changed as you would like if the first draft is not to your liking.

What Do You Use to Record?

Currently, I use Cubase as my main DAW, an AT4040 as my main mic. For any further questions about gear, please reach out to me.

How Often Will Contact Be?

Throughout this process, I will let you know my progress at the halfway point between the time of purchase and the time of delivery. I will only contact you then and when I deliver each copy of your lyrics. In the meantime, I will be available for contact between 11am - 4pm Wednesday - Saturday.

Do You Supply Music?

The extent of music I'll provide will be an acoustic guitar scratch track for an extra charge. My skills are in lyric writing, not music production. I also don't provide sheet music, as I like keeping options open regarding the key and tempo of a piece.
